How to Plan a Multi‑Day Wedding Weekend at a Hinterland Wedding Venue
The Byron Bay hinterland is your best option if you envision a sophisticated multi-day celebration.
Our award-winning hinterland wedding venue invites you to swap wind-whipped shores for a mini-castle, where Tuscan architecture sets the stage for a majestic wedding.
The Art of Slow Celebration
A multi-day wedding weekend is about creating a rhythmic journey, where you can settle into a weekend of intentional luxury. When you arrive at Nutting Hill Villa, the sheer scale of our property sets the tone.
Your booking secures exclusive access to the main residence. We do not bill for accommodation separately, so the hire of the venue includes full use of the villa’s interior spaces. Just note that we don’t do general guest accommodation just yet.
The venue includes five rooms and three bathrooms as a home base for the bridal party:
Hair and makeup teams will have plenty of room to work while you sip champagne in a climate-controlled environment.
Choose to host your closest bridal party members within these rooms throughout the celebration.
The Tuscan-inspired interior of the castle is perfect for those “getting ready” shots before you head off for formal portraits.
Design Your Itinerary
Multi-day events require a versatile venue to host different “chapters” of a wedding story. You can transition seamlessly from one event to the next at Nutting Hill Villa because you have the whole villa and its expansive grounds at your disposal.
Start your weekend with a gathering in our Tuscan-inspired courtyard – the perfect spot for a pre-wedding cocktail hour.
The Plantation Room can accommodate up to 200 seated guests and the Pavilion on the Green seats 100.
You can celebrate your new union with a spectacular fireworks display when the night reaches its peak – a magical show that sets us apart from other wedding venues.
Capture the Magic Over Multiple Days
A multi-day celebration at Nutting Hill Villa means you get to capture a diverse portfolio of memories a single-day event cannot offer. Spreading your celebration across the weekend, you can use every architectural detail of our mini-castle at your own pace. Here are some ideas:
Golden Hour: Take advantage of the hinterland’s soft afternoon light for high-end editorial shots in our majestic turret and portico.
The Tower Perspective: Capture breathtaking aerial-style views of your guests enjoying the courtyard from the vantage point of the villa’s tower.
Evergreen Love Shots: Our tropical gardens are non-seasonal, so the same lush greenery you see on day one will be there as is on day three too.
Night Sky: The calm hinterland air provides the perfect clear canvas for your celebratory fireworks display – a cinematic finale to your wedding gallery.
Flexibility and Creative Freedom
We provide the venue and you bring the creative vision. You are not restricted to specific vendors with us. The choice is yours, from caterers to boutique stylists, so you get to ensure every detail is a reflection of you, the married couple-to-be.
At Nutting Hill Villa, your wedding is more than a single day – it is a private residency in a Mediterranean-inspired paradise with all-weather protection and photo opportunities you simply can’t match anywhere else.
